Fall foliage season is upon us, which means it’s time to take out your camera, head to the woods, and capture some beautiful images of fiery dying leaves in full bloom. Yes, everyone has shot images of autumn leaves before, but have you been able to capture anything truly eye-catching and unique?

If you’ve ever wondered why a group of tigers is called an “ambush,” the video below pretty much explains the nomenclature. The clip was captured by China Central Television (CCTV) while shooting aerial footage of captive Siberian tigers in the snow, when all of a sudden one of the massive beasts leapt up and yanked their drone out of the sky.

Manny Ortiz is a Chicago-based photographer known for capturing the personality of his subjects. He’s also a good instructor, and in the four-minute video below he provides some great posing tips for budding portrait photographers.

OK all you macro photographers, here’s something different and intriguing that you actually CAN try at home. Watch this video from Macro Room, and observe the hidden beauty of pills dissolving in a small tank of water.

We occasionally turn to “The Slow Mo Guys” when we need a good laugh, and the video below sure did the trick. Gavin uses a $150,000 Phantom Flex digital camera at 1000 frames per second to capture Dan eating a cob of corn that’s slathered with ketchup and mounted on an electric drill. Sound stupid? It is.
