While visiting Sylvan Heights Bird Park, in Scotland Neck, NC, I was able to capture the image of the Macaw. I shot the image with a Nikon D7100 and Nikkor 200-500/f5.6 lens, with a Nikon TC14E III teleconverter attached and mounted on a tripod. I shot in aperture priority mode at ISO 1000 and exposed at f/8 for 1/80th of a second.
