While visiting Sylvan Heights Bird Park, in Scotland Neck, NC, I was able to capture the image of the flamingo at rest in The Landing Zone aviary. I captured the image with a Nikon D7100 and Sigma 50-150/f2.8 lens, hand held with vibration reduction on. I shot the image in aperture priority mode at ISO 640 and exposed at f/3.2 for 1/800th of a second.
