I set my lavender orchids near a window, so as to illuminate them with natural light. I captured the image using a Nikon D610 and Nikkor 105mm/f2.8 macro lens mounted on a tripod and tripped the shutter with a remote release. I shot in aperture priority mode at ISO 50 and exposed at f/32 for 2.5 seconds.
