If you wonder what it is like to walk on another planet, visit Trona Pinnacles. This place fills me with wonder every time I go. This is the glorious Milky Way underneath the Mojave Desert in California. I illuminated the amazing tufas, left over from an ancient lake bed, with an LED flashlight during the exposure.
