Lots of Western Bluebirds in the area where I live. The south Okanagan Valley of BC Canada is a very arid area and with that we get a variety of migratory birds that enjoy the heat and the sun. Bluebirds are an area favourite. This Western is perched nicely in a Sage Brush allowing me a pretty good composition. Camera was a Canon 7D with the Canon 500mm f4 lens on a tripod. Settings as follows. Aperture was 4.5, speed was 1/1000 sec and ISO was at 400.
