One must have a will to stand by watching a Heron fish with the hope of getting a photo of the Heron downing a fish. I was fortunate in this one but it took some time. Location was Lake Havasu State Park, Arizona during the winter months. Camera was a Canon 5D Mk III with the Canon 500mm f4 lens on a tripod. Settings were as follows, aperture at 5.6, speed was 1/1600 sec and ISO was at 400.
