Travel Photographer Genaro Bardy Shoots Secluded Late-Night Images of the World’s Iconic Cities
Genaro Bardy is a versatile Paris-based freelancer specializing in travel, portrait, wildlife, concert, and street photography. While all his work is commendable, Bardy’s late-night cityscapes of secluded streets are particularly noteworthy.
Bardy has traveled the world to make these haunting images in such iconic cities as New York, London, Rome, Paris and elsewhere, and his photographs provide a unique look at places that are typically bustling with activity.
While Paris is the home base for Bardy’s personal work, he has also traveled extensively on projects for corporate clients like Volkswagen, Toyota and others. He also has a broad list of clients based in Europe.
Bardy also considers himself a documentary photographer and photojournalist, and his work has been widely featured in such print publications as the Evening Standard, Daily Mail and Le Monde. His journalistic work has also been shared by a variety of Internet outlets.
The images you see here are part of Bardy’s “Desert in the City” personal project that he pursues when he’s not working for clients. He says he plans to revisit many of the cities in order to shoot them at different seasons during the year.
