Photographing wildlife is more art than science but there are a few things you should know if you're planning to capture critters in their natural habitats. In the below video, photographer Tony Northrup teaches you the best way to approach and photograph wildlife while using the right camera settings for getting crisp shots.

In the clip, which we've embedded below, Northrup shares his techniques for getting close to animals without disturbing them, and suggests camera settings for photographing still wildlife, and how to get sharper, cleaner photos using his "Rule of Doubles."

Of course, it also helps that Northrup is using the just announced Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS super telephoto lens, but you can use just about any decent telephoto or zoom and still get great results if you follow his tips.
