On my waterfowl watching outings, I typically see Mallards, Canadian Geese, and a few Wood Ducks. However, these beautiful birds are sometimes in the crowd as well. At some point during this bird-watching session, I spotted this guy up on the bank drying his wings after a brief swim in the pond.
I shoot with a Nikon D750 (f6 at 1/1600sec) and a Tamron 150-600mm lens (at 420mm). I usually pull the image into Photoshop Elements and use the Topaz Labs DeNoise and sometimes Topaz Adjust plug-ins to tweak the image.
