Birds are my favorite subject to shoot, especially waterfowl. I sometimes go to a local park where the ducks and geese like to hang out. The wood ducks are my all time favorites due to their coloring, but the male mallards are the most fun to watch. They occasionally seem to get a wild streak and go chasing each other around the pond. This guy caught my eye as he was charging around chasing the others. He looks like he means business!

I typically shoot with my Nikon D750 (f6.3 and 1/1250), a Tamron 150-600mm (1st edition at 550mm), then utilize Photoshop Elements with Topaz DeNoise and sometimes Topaz Adjust plug-ins. This image was cropped to bring the duck closer into the image.
