I was sitting on an overlook wall along Newfound Gap Road, I was shooting a landscape when this abnormally large raven came and set within 5 feet of me. He just stared at me, I finished shooting my landscape and looked beside me and he was still there just watching me. I switched to a large lens to try and get a nice portrait of him, I snapped a quick one to check the focus and as I looked up he was flying away. I was able to get this one frame. The fall color really made him stand out.
