On one of my many work trips to Charleston SC. I visited the swamp rookery at Magnolia Plantation. This particular spring it was filled and bristling with the many egrets, herons, etc that habitat there. Here is my black and white artistic expression of a white egret in flight. I remoter liking the way some of the trees were gesturing in the same direction as the direction of flight, adding to the feeling of motion, thus I decided to bring that gesture out by a strong contrast which highlights the bent branches.
