On one of my many work trips to Charleston SC. I visited the swamp rookery at Magnolia Plantation. This particular spring it was filled and bristling with the many egrets, herons, etc that habitat there. This particular white egret was close enough for me to get a decent shot with my limited 70-200 and teleconverter.
