I live on the peninsula of an inland lake in northwest lower Michigan and was returning from photographing a local high school sports event when I noticed a great sunset forming. Rather than driving directly home, I headed to a small clearing on the other side of the peninsula to snap several shots at the peak of the color. This one was my favorite with the sunset and reflection framed by an opening in the trees. The bench in the foreground says this is a perfect spot to watch the setting sun.
