Canoe trips in Minnesota's Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness provide many opportunities for spectacular sunrises and sunsets. This calm evening came after three days of rain. The skies cleared, winds died down, a chill filled the air, and we finally enjoyed a sunset campfire. I thought the color of the sky and the soft glow of the campfire were picturesque enough. So I asked my friend to stay put and sit still while I set up a tripod and took the picture.
