Seeing this Tiger Swallowtail butterfly fluttering around a flowering bush beside my home in Georgetown, Colorado, I grabbed this photo with a medium format Pentax 6x7 and 200mm lens with Pentax 2X tele-extender, on ISO 400 Ektachrome with on-camera fill flash and using a long shutter speed (approximately 1/30th second) to record the blur in the fluttering wings while the flash gave good sharpness and a correct exposure to the overall scene, and the extreme shallow depth of field rendered the out of focus background (a large bush with red flowers) as a soft non-distracting blur. All colors but yellows (and greens) were removed in Photoshop to further emphasize the main subject.
