My wife and I brought our grandson to the Annual International Kite Festival in Long Beach, Washington in August of 2012. We took the 2 hour drive there just to see the magnificent kites being flown from entries from around the world. As we walked along the beach, admiring the colors and structures of the different kites dancing in the wind, I saw a loan photographer capturing the scene before her.
