Photo was taken with a Leica D-Lux 3 digital camera. ISO 100, f/4.9, speed 1/800. I went to Cannon Beach, Oregon, with my family to celebrate the Summer birthday of my oldest granddaughter. As they were off playing on the beach, I was captivated by the lighting quality. It was noon in August, but it was darker than it should have been for that time of year. That coupled with the unusual darkness of the top of the clouds told me that a storm was imminent. I snapped this photo, then shared it with my family.
