For me, there is no more of a beautiful place than East Tennessee. I was driving around the back roads of Church Hill, TN when Bays Mountain just appeared at the top of the hill. The church and graveyard along with the farmland were tucked beautiful into the landscape and the sun was just starting to rise. I got a beautiful orange glow in the sky and Bays Mountain had a nice purple tone to it.

I took this shot with a Nikon D7000 using a Nikkorr 70-200 f2.8 Lens with no filters, I actually used my car as the tripod. The color was changing so fast, I didn't have time to actually get the tripod out.
