Sometimes, phenomenal photos come from the most random circumstances. I came upon this Great Egret by pure luck one afternoon, while birding with a friend of mine at Maumee Bay State Park. We were just leaving the park and when we pulled up to one of the stop signs, I looked out the window and this bird was looking right back at me. I grabbed my camera and took a few shots, then we moved on so it could enjoy it's dinner.
