This Great Gray Owl was hunting on morning along Admiral Road in Sax Zim Bog, near Cotton Minnesota. I was fortunate to get to spend a bit of time with this guy. They are remarkable birds! My father, a friend, and I drove over 900 miles to find this Owl. It was a surreal experience. In this photo, he's taking off to his next perch, in search of breakfast.
