I was testing out my new travel photography kit, trying to get some morning shots of Sol Duc Falls when a local avian resident paused on the fallen tree in front of me for a morning shower in the mists of the falls. He had a grand old time just soaking the spray for about 10 minutes while I fired away, but would sit still long enough at regular intervals to let me get long exposure shots to feather the falls in the background.. Shot at Sol Duc Falls in Olympic National Park, Washington in May 2015.
