In an otherwise pristine sculpted patterns in the dunes, I found a wind swept twig at the bottom left of the composition which functions to lead the eye up and to the right. I thought that this anomaly gave the scene an artistic touch. I photographed this landscape with a Nikon D 7100 and Hoya Circular Polarizer attached to a Nikkor Zoom Lens (18-200 mm.). The ISO was 200, F/18, 1/30th second exposure, and a Focal Length of 135 mm. I used a Gitzo Tripod and Arca-Swiss Head.
