All of the necessary ingredients came together for me on this scene: high tide, high surf, mist, sunset, and filtered light. This was one of the best sunsets that I had seen on the Oregon Coast. I used a Nikon D 300, Nikkor Zoom lens (18-200), and Cokin 3 step Neutral Density Filter. Th ISO was 200, F/14, 1/4o0th second exposure, and a focal length og 120 mm. I was especially pleased to catch the spray in silhouette fashion.
