“Ghost Cabin”

Hiking through the mountains in the Poudre Canyon above Fort Collins, Colorado, I happened upon a small clearing. Up against a mountain and surrounded by a grove of aspen trees, I found this very old abandoned cabin. The sight of this stopped me in my tracks. I immediately felt chills and a sense that I was stepping back in time. I took very slow steps as I listened to the wind move through the cracks of this home from the past. I felt as though I was trespassing on a family from long ago. I stayed long enough to capture this image with the sun setting the front aglow.

As I look at this photo, known simply as “Ghost Cabin,” I still get the same feeling each and every time. A cabin home with many stories to tell, but the people who built this and called it home are now just ghostly memories from the past.

Ghost cabin would help us know the mysterious elements better. This also takes greater dimensions to understand the areas of research to a better extent. This could be treated as a storage means for a future as well.

That place is too scary. It reminds me of our baxton studio sectional sofas in our house, I saw it moved suddenly. I was too scared on that day.

Visiting historic sites always makes me wonder about the people that used to live there, what were they doing for a living and how a regular day in their life looked like. I've always felt a strong attraction to such sites!
