The day in southern Iceland had started without a cloud in the winter sky but by the time we reached Vik in the late afternoon a snowstorm was raging. When I stepped outside the vehicle to take this image so much wet snow was falling that keeping both me and my camera dry was a real challenge. I shot many images but this one with a snow covered black sand beach and three sea stacks partially covered in mist was my favorite.
Canon 6D, 24-70 F4.0 lens at 53mm, 1/90, F9.5, ISO 800.
