"Window of Opportunity" is an infrared image made by Gary Larsen in the Denver Art Museum, Denver, CO looking through a curtain on one of the upper floors at a service stairway and window. It reflects the dark, shadowy mood of the film noir era.
It was done with a hand-held Nikon D300 converted to IR. The lens was a Nikkor 18-55mm @ 18mm (27mm). The exposure was at ISO 1250, f/16/ 1/40 second with no filters. Post-processing was done in Photoshop CS5 using Curves with minor sharpening.
