I love Washington DC at night. That is when the city comes to life and everything is lit up. This photo is of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge that crosses the Potomac river and connects Virginia and Maryland. I was able to capture this perspective from Jones Point Park, which sits right under the bridge before it crosses the water. I also like this perspective because you can capture the light trails from the planes coming in to land at Regan International airport during long exposures.
Taken with the Nikon D750 and Tokina 16-28mm f/2.8 lens. Shot at 19mm, f/13, 57 sec, ISO 100.
