I was traveling around the Bay Area looking for locations to capture some unique photography and I happened to end up at this location within the recently opened up Presidio area of San Francisco adjacent to the iconic San Francisco Golden Gate bridge. As luck would have it, a large container freighter was passing in front of the bridge and I was able to use a long exposure to capture the streaks of color of the ship, along with the fluid colors of the traffic on the bridge itself. My gear at the time was a Hasselblad 501C with an 80mm lens. The exposure was, to the best of my recollection, thirty-five seconds with a lens opening of f22. I shot this on 100 ASA Fuji Velvia film, which I subsequently had scanned to a CD. My tripod used was a Bogen Manfrotto.
