Range Of Interest
Evan, a junior at Saint Francis, has studied photography at the school and taken a summer class at a local community college, but he's not sure that taking photography courses is the way to go. "I don't think there's any set way to learn it; you either get it or you don't." If he's talking about ideas and vision, Evan gets it, as evidenced by the quality and variety of his work and his ability to improvise and create on the spot (the images of the drummer and the golfer are not studio setups).

Photography may be a continuing interest but not a career. "I'd like to major in engineering in college," he says, but he's leaving the door open: "I'd like to find a school that has both a good art school and engineering."
