Built in the 1940s, this iconic building is the subject of furious debate in Kenosha, Wisconsin. It was built as a Works Progress Administration project and is on the National Register of Historic Places but was seriously damaged by a storm in 2012. The community is trying to save it from being torn down by local government officials who think it not worth saving.
This picture was taken with a Canon 6D at ISO 100, shutter speed 1/320 at f/11 and converted to black and white in Lightroom.
Part of a personal project of black and white pictures of Kenosha landmarks.
