Low clouds hover over the Owens Valley, with the Eastern Sierra in the background. Taken as a storm moved out of the region, these clouds seemed almost parallel to where I was standing. Originally done in color, I converted this to black and white to emphasize the light filtering through the clouds and the long shadows on the ground.
