Snow Geese explode off the water at Bosque Del Apache NWR. The dim light just before dawn allowed for a shutter speed of 1/15 second to create the blur with a slow panning. Creative blurring of wildlife images conveys movement and power to otherwise static imagery. Image made with Canon 7D, Canon 500 mm F4 L lens plus 1.4x converter giving 700 mm focal length.
Exposure was 1/15 second @ F 8.0, ISO 800.
