This photo was a good candidate for conversion to black and white because it lacked color variation, but was rich in textures, lines, and contrasts. It was taken with a Nikon D70 and a Tamron 28-200 mm lens at 200 mm. The exposure was f/8 and 1/640 sec (ISO 400). Image by Irwin H. Segel.
