I took this at "Ground Zero" in 2009, when there was still a lot of recovery work to do in Lower Manhattan. These people are sitting about as close to the huge hole in the ground as possible without being in it. To have been a somewhat active lobby, it was very quiet on that October day, as if the others shared my mood.
Nikon D300, ISO 200, f9 @ 1/160, Nikon 18-200 @ 18mm.
