I was in New York City for the first time in my life, I wanted to explore that side streets that had no tourists. I left my friends apartment to go on a stroll on my own, I just wanted the experience of belonging here for a day. I found a nice deli were I got a pretty good bagel, I had some coffee and read the newspaper that morning, then I was off. After about an hour of just walking around I came across this empty basketball court, it had some pretty nice graffiti and these vines were taking over the apartment complex just beside it. I framed the shot at the bottom of the wall to split the image and add some appeal to it.
