You are here
Once in a while the noise has to stop.
The only sounds here are the water rolling over the surface of the rocks and the birds in the surrounding woods. This is the upper section of Enders Falls in Connecticut. With several small to mediums size falls father down stream I like the upper less visited section of this place. I had to sell my Nikon D7000, 18-300 lens and other equipment in order to pay my bills at the beginning of 2015. Killed me to do it, but whatever, life goes on. I purchased a Sony A6000 with 16-50 and 55-210. Works just fine. On this shot I have a very small tripod that I inherited balanced on a small rock at the base of this stream and used the 16-50 at 16mm, 1.6 seconds exposure @ f/11. Used the 2 second self timer on the camera cause I don't have a shutter release cable or remote. I love nature, it gives back the love.
