I photographed an event at the Hensley Settlement in the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park for the NPS recently. Mrs Eddy is really Pam Eddy, a National Park Employee who loves to get into character at the Living History events. She was portraying one of the school teachers who would teach at the Hensley Settlement. The only artificial light was that from the lamp, the natural light was coming through the windows. Everything in the school house was from the time period as well.
