My favorite part of a storm in the mountains is when it breaks up. Fog clings to the peaks and the mountains are left with a new coat of snow. I was driving around Big Sky, Montana looking for a shot when a puddle in a roadside pullout caught my eye. If I got low enough, could I catch a reflection of Lone Mountain in the still water? I did a quick U-turn and anxiously got out of the car. YES! It worked and here's the evidence!
