I saw the image while riding a tour boat on the Chicago River, site of a summer job during my college days (c. 1970) as a deckhand on the Masco I, a small towboat that pushed mostly sugar barges through "the Loop" in downtown Chicago, through the last lock, out into Lake Michigan and around the horn to the Curtis Candy dock. In those days, the Marina Towers, shown here as warped reflections, were the latest and greatest in skyscraper architecture. They have held their own very well through the decades.
