Alpine, Texas is a desert town in West Texas where many homes and buildings, when vacant, are left to nature's whim. For some who wish to keep others out of their vacated premises, they resort to resourceful means of security. This face in the window startled me the first time I passed by it; I turned my car around, put on my 70-200mm, and shot this through the car window.
