Slate Run Wetlands is a wonderful little marshland just south of Columbus Ohio. Every year, it hosts an outstanding array of wildlife. A multitude of birds, plants, reptiles, and amphibians call this wetland home. This past year, there was a breeding pair of Sandhill Cranes, that raised two young. In this photo, both parents and young took flight and disappeared over the treeline, and it was the last I saw of them. I'm thankful for the parting image.
