This photograph represents a fairly simple concept for me. We all face hurdles. Things we don't want to face in life but have no choice but to do just that. You can either stand there and look at it, or you can jump over and get past it!

While it may seem to many that this photo is nothing more than an action shot of a beautiful woman jumping over a dead tree, I always try to see more than the first general impression of a photograph. I do this with every photograph that comes in front of me, both my own and others, and I would challenge everyone to do the same. You might be surprised at the emotions that arise when you put more thought into the photographs you see!

I made this photo with my Canon 7D Mark ii, Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 VC lens, and an Alien Bee B800 with a 48" shoot through umbrella.
