Winter blizzard Jonas dropped up to 3 feet of snow on parts of Maryland. In Butler Maryland where we saw about 30" of white powder... A beautiful storm which packed an huge punch, crippling mounds of powdery dry snow compared to the typical heavy wet flakes of a typical East Coast snowfall.
The first day was spent shoveling out, but the second day was for snowshoeing..."laying tracks" so that our dog could still get the needed exercise despite the depth of snow which had fallen.
Within 48 hours, we were back up in the trails experiencing natures beauty, and enjoying every moment. Couldn't think of a more peaceful way to start our day.
Photo taken with my cellphone thru the polarized filter lens of my sunglasses giving it a warm glow.
