This photo of the torch flower blossom was taken while wandering around the grounds of the Lodge at Pico Bonito in Honduras. This blossom was passed it's prime, but I liked how the light on the top of the blossom made it look like it was a glowing torch. The purple blossom behind it provided colorful separation. The photo was taken using a Pentax K-5 with Pentax 55-300 lens at 210mm. Setting was f5.6 at 1/250 sec.
