There is a certain time in upstate New York when Golden Rod blooms at the same time as several species of Asters. I was lucky to be in the fields at such a time and a little fog definitely did not hurt. I took this photo with an Ikeda 4X5 folding view camera (sadly a dying art)and a Schneider 150mm lens set at f16 and 1/8 second.
