This tricolor Heron chick was one of a trio in a nest at Wakodahatchee Wetlands, in Delray Beach, FL. All three were anxiously waiting for the parents to return and feed them, but this chick seemed especially vocal, and thus caught my attention. Got to love the "punk" hairdo!
