While out photographing an Elk herd in a Ranchers hay field I noticed a Coyote wandering across the field and then it climbed up on top of a round hay bale. It got comfortable and like me began to watch the nearby Elk herd feed.Camera was a Canon 5D Mk III with the Canon 500mm f4 lens on a tripod. Settings for the photo as follows. Aperture was 7.1, speed was 1/160 sed and ISO was at 200.
