Early spring and the Bears are coming out of hibernation and looking for food. This Brown coloured Black Bear was busy munching on green grasses in a meadow when I came upon it. It was not concerned that I was there but did stand up to get a good look at me and then went back to eating. Camera was a Canon 5D Mk III with a Canon 500mm f4 lens on a tripod. Settings for this photo as follows. Aperture was 5.6, speed was 1/800 sec and ISO was at 800.
